The CS Professional Course is the final level in the Company Secretary (CS) program, designed for students who have successfully completed the CS Executive level. Understanding the CS Professional Course

The CS Professional Course is the final step in becoming a Company Secretary, building upon the foundation laid by the CS Executive. The curriculum covers advanced topics such as Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Reporting, offering a deep dive into these critical areas. The examination structure consists of two groups, each with four papers, and the total marks for the course are 800, with each group contributing 400 marks. To become a Company Secretary (CS), you have to take theCSEET exam. If you’ve finished your 10+2 schooling, you’re eligible for this course. The exam has three levels: the foundation course, the executive course, and the professional course.

  • CS Executive Exam: You must have passed both modules of the CS Executive exams to be eligible.
  • Minimum Passing Score: To qualify for the CS Executive exam, you should score at least 40% in each subject and achieve an overall score of 50%. These are the current passing standards set by ICSI.
