This is the revised and latest CSEET structure updated by ICSI from 2026 onwards, applicable for students appearing in upcoming sessions including June 2026. The examination pattern, subjects, fees, and structure have been formally aligned as per the updated framework prescribed by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

What is the CSEET Course?

The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the mandatory entrance examination for admission to the CS Executive Programme, except for candidates eligible under the Direct Entry route.

CSEET serves as the gateway to the Company Secretary profession in India. It assesses foundational knowledge in communication, accounting, business environment, and business laws to ensure students are academically prepared for advanced professional studies in corporate governance and compliance.

CSEET Eligibility Criteria (Latest 2026)
A candidate is eligible to appear if he or she:
1. Has passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2), or
2. Is appearing in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
There is no minimum percentage requirement prescribed.
